RAMTelecom offers managed VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) service over satellite in Canada for fixed communication applications.

RAMTelecom's VoIP service is built on ViaSat Satellite Broadband System's LinkStar® technology.

LinkStar is a high-performance, VSAT system for service providers, ISPs, and corporate network managers. It is a world-leading Internet Protocol via satellite product that delivers dynamic bandwidth allocation that is more efficient and faster than other systems on the market.

Voice over RAMTelecom LinkStar can support either single or multiple lines and can provide immediate savings in comparison to satellite telephone costs. In addition, RAMTelecom's VoIP service offers local calling into any major centre in Canada.

RAMTelecom owns and operates the only commercially available LinkStar Satellite Network in Canada. The Ottawa-based satellite gateway is fully redundant and located within a secure Federal Government approved facility.
